Staying Safe from Job Scammers
With fraudulent recruitment activities are on the rise across the healthcare industry, Clarvida encourages all job seekers to remain vigilant against these scams and take precautions to protect themselves.
Candidates can help themselves stay safe from job scammers by knowing how to identify them. We urge all those looking for a new career to pay careful attention to communication methods, actions, and requests of recruiters.
- Communication Methods
Communication about legitimate Clarvida job opportunities will only come from one of the two following methods:- An authorized Clarvida.com email address
- A personal LinkedIn account that is associated with a Clarvida.com email address
Clarvida recruiters will never use any variation of the domain name “Clarvida.com.” For example, an email from a domain such as “Clarvita.com” or “ClarvidaJobs.com” would not be legitimate
- Actions
Please keep in mind that Clarvida recruiters will never take any of these actions:- Charge application fees
- Conduct interviews via chat rooms
- Extend job offers without a thorough review process
- Requests
Clarvida recruiters will never request the following from job candidates:
- Gift cards
- Monetary funds
- Set up of a new bank account
- Permission to set up a new bank account on behalf of the candidate
- The purchase of technology using personal credit cards
If you have concerns about the authenticity of communication you believe to be from Clarvida, or if you are contacted by a recruiter who does not use a Clarvida.com email, please contact us immediately at recruiting@clarvida.com.
Job seekers may also report scams to their local authorities or consumer protection agencies. In the U.S., complaints can also be filed with the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
