About the Role

As a Behavior Technician, you will manage an assigned caseload of 25-32 clients ranging from 4 years old to adolescence. You will work either independently or as part of a team and meet with clients and their families in community settings, schools, or homes approximately 1-4 times a month. The role focuses on recognizing behavior triggers, teaching effective coping skills, and collaborating with families, caregivers, and professionals to implement behavior modification techniques to reduce negative behaviors.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma with 1+ year of experience working with children in behavioral work or parenting services, OR
  • Associate’s degree in any field with 6+ months of relevant experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, etc.)
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Must be eligible for fingerprint clearance approval without restrictions
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, current auto insurance, and CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
