Residential Case Manager
About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Residential Case Manager to support adults with severe and persistent mental illness who require additional supervision and independent living support in a residential setting. In this role, you will meet with residents daily to provide skill training, structure, and personal support designed to increase stability, independence, and safety.
You will work closely with residents to build essential life skills while monitoring behaviors, needs, progress, and medication administration. This role also includes crisis intervention when needed and transporting residents to appointments and community activities using a company vehicle. You will be part of a collaborative residential team and participate in regular staff meetings and supervision for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision, support, and skill training to residential clients
- Support life skills development, including hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, safety, and meal preparation
- Monitor resident behaviors, needs, and progress
- Assist with and monitor client-administered medications
- Document services rendered, progress, and continued needs
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Transport residents to medical appointments, grocery trips, and community activities
- Participate in team meetings and supervision with the Residential Program Supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field) preferred
- Experience working in a mental health or substance abuse residential setting preferred
- Experience working with a psychiatric population preferred
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Clean criminal background check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children or adults)
