Intensive In-Home Clinician
About the Role
Clarvida is seeking an Intensive In-Home Clinician to provide direct, therapeutic services to children, youth, and families experiencing mental, behavioral, or emotional challenges that impact daily functioning. In this role, you will work directly with families in their homes and communities to support stabilization, skill development, and long-term success within the family unit.
This is a community-based role that requires flexibility, strong clinical engagement, and the ability to support families during evenings, weekends, and crisis situations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive in-home clinical services to children, youth, and families
- Deliver education, skills training, and therapeutic interventions aligned with individualized treatment goals
- Support families in managing behavioral, emotional, and relational challenges
- Assist clients in developing coping skills, problem-solving strategies, and healthy routines
- Respond to crisis situations as required
- Collaborate with supervisors, care teams, and community partners
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related)
- Willingness and ability to work evenings, weekends, and provide crisis response
- Registered or eligible to register with the Virginia Board as a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Children (QMHP-C) or Trainee (QMHP-T)
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Active state-minimum auto insurance
- Ability to pass all required background checks
