About the Role

Clarvida is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist II to provide advanced behavioral health services to adults age 18 and older who have transitioned from higher levels of care, such as adult family homes or assisted living facilities, and require additional behavioral supports to maintain placement.

In this role, you will partner closely with clients and their support systems to develop Safety and Crisis Plans and Individual Behavior Support Plans. You will meet weekly with clients to monitor progress, address behavioral needs, and work toward identified goals. This position includes participation in an after-hours phone crisis response rotation approximately one week every three months.

Responsibilities

  • Work with adults age 18+ transitioning from higher levels of care
  • Develop Safety and Crisis Plans and Individual Behavior Support Plans
  • Meet weekly with clients to support goal progression and stability
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations and document client progress and behaviors
  • Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation
  • Collaborate with support systems, residential staff, and care partners
  • Participate in an after-hours phone crisis response rotation as scheduled

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or a related field
  • One of the following credentials:
    • Eligible as an Agency Affiliated Counselor through Washington Department of Health (assistance provided)
    • Licensed or associate-licensed in Washington as LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LSWAIC, LMHCA, or LMFTA
    • Licensed Behavior Analyst in Washington with active Board Certification (BCBA)
  • Valid Washington Driver’s License with clean driving record and active auto insurance
  • Satisfactory fingerprinting and background check results

Hourly Pay Range
$31–$38/hour ($60,000–$79,000 annually, based on location)
