Mental Health Professional (Master’s Level)
About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Mental Health Professional to work with adults age 18 and older who have transitioned from higher levels of care, such as adult family homes or assisted living facilities, and require additional behavioral supports to maintain placement. In this role, you will partner with clients and their support systems to promote stability, independence, and progress toward self-identified goals.
You will collaborate with clients, family members, and residential staff to create Safety and Crisis Plans and Individual Behavior Support Plans. This position includes weekly client meetings, ongoing evaluation of progress, and participation in a rotating after-hours phone crisis response approximately one week every three months.
Responsibilities
- Work with adults age 18+ transitioning from higher levels of care
- Develop Safety and Crisis Plans and Individual Behavior Support Plans
- Meet weekly with clients to support progress toward identified goals
- Engage and educate family members and residential staff on effective behavioral strategies
- Maintain ongoing evaluations, progress notes, plans, and meeting documentation
- Monitor client behaviors and identify areas requiring intervention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Participate in rotating after-hours phone crisis response coverage
Requirements
- One of the following:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field and two (2) years of direct treatment experience with clients with a mental health diagnosis under supervision (internship/practicum hours count), and eligibility as a Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor through the Washington Department of Health (assistance provided), or
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in Washington with Board Certification (BCBA)
- Valid Washington Driver’s License with clean driving record and active auto insurance
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
