Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adults who have been discharged from state hospitals or who reside in assisted living facilities or adult family homes and present with complex behavioral health needs.
In this role, you will meet regularly with clients to conduct individualized psychiatric assessments, prescribe and manage medications, and support long-term stabilization. This position primarily works weekdays, with flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends, and includes limited on-call responsibilities twice per year. The role offers a balance of remote work and community-based travel across Washington.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult clients
- Provide ongoing follow-up visits and treatment adjustments as needed
- Work with adults discharged from state hospitals or living in residential settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and residential providers
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote service delivery
- Travel periodically to facilities across Washington to see clients in person
- Participate in limited on-call coverage (approximately twice per year)
Requirements
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred
- Active ARNP license in Washington or ability to obtain licensure in WA
- Active DEA registration
- Experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations
- Intermediate proficiency with telehealth technology
- Willingness to travel once per month or every other month to client facilities across Washington counties
- Reliable transportation with active auto insurance
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
