Our Programs
Our programs are designed to serve the unique needs of the communities and states we operate in to have the greatest impact possible.
Adult Crisis Stabilization Center
The Adult Crisis Stabilization Center provides a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment for adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis in Clackamas County. Services are available at no cost and are designed to help individuals stabilize, address immediate needs, and connect with ongoing support in the community. Individuals may stay at the center for up to 23 hours and 59 minutes per episode of care. During their stay, they receive personalized support that may include medical screening, behavioral health assessment, safety planning, solution-focused counseling, case management, peer support, and referrals to community resources and ongoing treatment services. Our goal is to provide compassionate, person-centered care that promotes stability, hope, and connection to the resources needed for long-term wellness. The Crisis center can accept referrals from Clackamas County law enforcement, mobile crisis response, probation and parole, community paramedics, behavioral health units, and the mental health walk-in clinics that are affiliated with Clackamas County.Alternative to Detention
The Alternative to Detention Program provides stabilization, assessment, case coordination, system navigation, court appearance support, skills training, counseling, and parent support and coaching. The program serves youth involved with Multnomah and Clackamas County Juvenile Departments. The program provides services to youth and families for 60-90 days while living in Clarvida certified foster homes. Placing youth in an alternative to detention setting has proven effective in reducing a youth’s exposure to and engagement in criminal activity along with preparation for the next phase of transition, whether it’s returning home, stabilizing and strengthening the existing home and family structure, or moving to a more appropriate long-term living environment, such as independent living for older youth. Family preservation and reunification and successful transition is the overarching goal of each placement. Youth are referred to the Alternative to Detention Program by their Juvenile Court Counselor (JCC).Child Specific Caregiver Support
The program provides Child Specific Caregiver Support (CSCS) to Resource Parents in Benton, Lane, Linn, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. The CSCS program provides community based, hands on parent coaching for biological, kith/kin, resource and pre-adoptive caregivers. The program is designed to support caregivers of children with complex unmet needs, who without this service may be at risk of placement instability. The goal of the program is to partner with caregivers by providing individualized support that strengthens their capacity to address and meet the unique needs of each youth. Services include weekly in-person sessions with a parent mentor, evidence-based training, parent coaching, help with systems navigation, and assistance identifying natural supports and community resources. ODHS Caseworkers can submit a referral directly to Clarvida at ORCommunityProgramReferrals@clarvida.com Referral forms can be found on the ODHS forms site: https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/forms/ Form number de1546650. The support services available to families through RSN may include parent mentoring, youth skills training, care coordination, and 24/7 crisis response.
